The Media Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing and managing social media vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement. They will collaborate with marketing teams to meet campaign requirements while maintaining vendor relationships and monitoring budget utilization. The role requires strong analytical skills to support cost benchmarking and generate reports on spend analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and onboard social media pages, agencies, influencers, media buying partners, and other products/vendors
- Manage end-to-end procurement process including rate negotiations and contract finalization
- Maintain and update vendor database
- Negotiate commercial terms and SLAs with vendors
- Ensure timely contract renewals, compliance checks, and documentation
- Support cost benchmarking and savings analysis across campaigns and vendors
- Monitor and report on budget utilization for social media marketing spends
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations
- Track PO generation, invoice processing, and vendor payment cycles
- Maintain procurement trackers, vendor performance logs, and contract archives
- Generate regular reports on spend analytics, vendor performance, and compliance
