About the job
We are hiring a skilled Site Engineer to lead on-site execution for rural road construction under PMGSY schemes. The candidate must have solid experience in managing earthwork, WBM/WMM layers, bituminous works, and quality compliance as per MoRD guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily execution of road construction activities
- Ensure work is as per PMGSY/IRC specifications
- Manage subcontractors, material procurement, and site labor
- Conduct quality tests (field density, bitumen content, camber, etc.)
- Coordinate with PIUs, third-party inspection teams, and government engineers
- Maintain site documentation, DPRs, and progress records
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMGSY or equivalent rural road projects
- Hands-on with field testing equipment and site quality checks
- Strong knowledge of MoRD specifications, BOQ, and execution drawings
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and report drafting
