Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition:Prospecting for new clients, identifying their event needs, and developing customized proposals.
- Relationship Building:Cultivating strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure ongoing business and referrals.
- Market Analysis:Researching industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging event formats to identify growth opportunities.
- Proposal Development:Crafting compelling and customized proposals that highlight the event management company's capabilities and value.
- Sales and Negotiation:Negotiating contracts, managing the sales process, and ensuring successful event delivery.
- Strategic Planning:Contributing to the company's overall business development strategy and identifying new avenues for growth.
- Reporting and Analysis:Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing sales reports, and analyzing market data to inform future strategies.
- Industry Networking:Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build connections and generate leads.
- Vendor Management:Sourcing and onboarding new vendors and venues to expand the company's event portfolio.
- Team Management:In some cases, may be responsible for managing a sales team, including hiring, training, and coaching.
