Brief Description

Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) is accepting online applications from eligible candidates for 1 permanent post of Junior Stenographer. Interested individuals must apply before 06-07-2025 after ensuring compliance with eligibility norms.

Date of Open Competitive Written Examination : 13-07-2025

Date of Proficiency Test in Stenography : 20-07-2025 (Tentatively)

Mode of Recruitment :

Candidates who meet all the required eligibility conditions as determined by the Screening Committee will be invited to appear for the competitive written examination and the proficiency test in Stenography or vice versa. Selection for the post will be based on the candidate’s performance in the Competitive Written Examination as well as the qualifying marks obtained in the Proficiency Test in Stenography.

The competitive written examination will consist of only one paper, which includes three parts as mentioned as :

B: Proficiency Test for Stenography

Candidates will be required to take a dictation test for 10 minutes in either English or Hindi, as opted by them in the application form. The dictation will be at a speed of 80 words per minute for the post of Junior Stenographer. The time allotted for transcription of the dictated passage is mentioned as :

Fee Structure :

The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.

Application fees of Rs 500/- is to be paid online through SBI collect.

How to Apply :

Applications can be submitted online using the available facility by the due date of 06-07-2025. Before completing the application, carefully read the instructions. The applicant should complete the online application with all of their pertinent personal and academic data in the places indicated by their certificates. A digital photo and signature must be uploaded. The online application should be printed out and saved for later use.

Registration

• Candidates desirous to apply for Junior Stenographer (JSG) positions against the advertisement should apply through this Online Recruitment Portal only.
• Candidates have to register with a valid Email Address by clicking on the "New Registration" button on the left side panel.
• Upon successful registration, the Registration ID and Password will be sent to candidate's registered email address. This Registration ID and Password is important for accessing Online Application Form.
• Candidates desirous to apply for more than one position need to register freshly with a same/different email address and fill the Online Application Form and proceed further.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupee FIVE Hundred only) through State Bank Collect under the payment category of "Advt No 02/2025-Application for Jr. Stenogropher" only. The transaction number & E-receipt generated after successful payment of fee is required to be mentioned & upload in the online application.

• Candidates should fill the correct information and will be held responsible for any typographical or other errors in data feeding. Later no request will be entertained for correction.

• Candidates can Login any number of times and navigate across the pages 1 to 5 to fill or update information. Please use "Save Details" button to preserve the filled in information.
• After filling information in all the pages, please click the "Final Submit" button in 'Preview & Submission' Page to submit the application
• Please note that once application is submitted, candidates will not have access to edit any information in Online Application Form. Hence, candidates have to ensure that they completely filled the application form in all respects with correct details and verify it before submitting.
