Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process for the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) consists of multiple stages. First, candidates appear for a written examination that tests their knowledge in General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude. Those applying for the Flying Branch must also appear for the Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) test after qualifying the written exam.
Candidates who clear the AFCAT written test are shortlisted for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) interview. This stage is conducted in two parts: Stage I includes the Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PPDT). Candidates who qualify proceed to Stage II, which involves psychological tests, group testing, and a personal interview. Those applying for flying duties must also clear the CPSS. Final selection is based on the combined performance in the written exam, AFSB interview, and medical examination.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is Rs 550/-for all candidates. Fees should be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking.

How to Apply :
Candidates who are qualified should fill out the application only online by or before 01-07-2025. Personal and education details should fill in online application at appropriate place. The printout of a duly filled-out online application should be retained for future use.
