Brief Description

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) welcomes applications online for 64 permanent posts of Technician, Draughtsman and Pharmacist. Candidates must apply by 16-06-2025 after ensuring they meet the eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will comprise the these two stages:

Written Test

  • A total of 80 multiple-choice questions will be asked. The syllabus for the written test will be based on the prescribed curriculum.
  • Duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
  • Each correct answer will carry 1 mark. There will be a negative marking of 0.33 mark for every incorrect answer.
  • Pass Criteria:
    • For candidates belonging to UR and EWS categories: Minimum 32 marks out of 80 are required to qualify.
    • For candidates belonging to reserved categories: Minimum 24 marks out of 80 are required to qualify (only applicable for vacancies reserved for them).
  1. Skill Test
    • The skill test will be qualifying in nature.
    • Minimum qualifying marks:
      • UR and EWS categories: 50 out of 100 marks.
      • Reserved categories: 40 out of 100 marks.

 

Fee Structure :

All applicants are initially required to pay a uniform application fee of Rs. 500/- per application.

However, the refund policy is as :

  • Female candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Ex-Servicemen (EX-SM), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will be refunded the full application fee, provided they appear for the written test.
  • All other candidates will be refunded Rs. 400/- after deducting applicable bank charges, subject to their appearance in the written test.

The application fee must be paid online using any of the given payment methods:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Internet Banking
  • UPI

Payments must be made exclusively through the Integrated SBI ePay facility.

 

How to Apply :

Candidates need to fill out applications only through the provided online facility by the due date of 16-06-2025. Candidates should fill in all required details carefully in their online applications. The online application should also include a personal email address and phone number. After the final submission of an online application, a copy should be printed out and kept for future use.
