For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal {Technician (Diploma)/ Graduate (Degree) Apprentices)} a. Go to: https://nats.education.gov.in/  b. Click on Student – Student Register c. Complete the application form d. A Unique Student Enrolment ID for each student will be generated after successful registration which is mandatory before applying for the positions and need to be mentioned in the application form.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: 1. Date & Time of Walk-in-Interview: (Reporting Time: 09.30 AM). No candidate will be allowed to enter into the venue after 10:00 AM. 2. Candidates have to submit their duly filled-in application given at the end of this advertisement and also available in our website (www.nio.res.in) along with original for verification and self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, proof of date of birth (copy of SSLC/HSC), Aadhar Card, a passport size photograph at the time of interview. 3. Candidates should have their valid Aadhaar Number. 4. The original documents including educational qualification, Birth/SSLC certificate, community and other certificates in respect of selected candidate will be verified at the time of walk-in- interview. Your joining at CSIR-NIO as apprenticeship trainee is subject to verification of certificates. 5. If number of candidates are more, the Selection Committee shall adopt its own criteria and shortlist the candidates for walk-in- interview in proportionate to the available vacancies. 6. Accommodation will not be provided. Selected candidates will have to make their own arrangements for stay. 7. Successful apprenticeship trainees will be awarded National Apprenticeship Certificate by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/ BOAT. 8. Any corrigendum/addendum or updates with regard to this advertisement shall be made available on our website https://nio.res.in/ only. 9. Candidates are advised to periodically visit our website as all future correspondence and latest information with regard to final screening/selection result shall be posted in our website (https://www.nio.res.in) 10. The applicant’s candidature would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates and testimonials. In case, it is detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/ doctored/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after engagement if any, his/her engagement is liable to be terminated. 11. The decision of the Director, CSIR-NIO, Goa will be final and binding on all candidates and on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc. No correspondence/ Interim queries will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the Director, CSIR-NIO, Goa based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/ insufficient number of candidates. 12. Upon completion of the Apprenticeship period CSIR-NIO shall have NO obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an Apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship. 13.
