Brief Description
Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 29 permanent posts of Assistant Section Officer (Office of the Advocate Genera). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 09-06-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :
The competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Section Officer will be conducted in the these successive stages:
(i) Written Examination (Objective Type - Multiple Choice Questions) - 400 marks
(ii) Skill Test in Computer (Practical - Qualifying) - 50 marks
The written examination will comprise three papers carrying a total of 400 marks. Except for the Skill Test in Computer Application (Practical), the questions in all other subjects/papers shall be of multiple-choice type. All questions will carry equal marks, i.e., 01 mark each.
A candidate must secure the qualifying marks mentioned in each of the three papers to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process, i.e., the Skill Test.
The final ranking of candidates who qualify the Skill Test will be based on the aggregate marks secured in the Written Examination (400 marks).
