Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process for the Mizoram Civil Service (Combined Competitive Examination) will consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Personality Test. Candidates must qualify each stage to progress to the next and to be considered for final selection.
Preliminary Examination: This is the first stage and serves as a screening test. It comprises objective-type questions with multiple-choice answers.
Main Examination: This stage consists of descriptive-type papers intended to assess the candidate’s academic knowledge and understanding. It includes compulsory papers and optional subjects as per the syllabus. Marks obtained in this stage are counted towards the final ranking.
Personality Test (Interview): Candidates who qualify the Main Examination are called for the Personality Test.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks secured in the Main Examination and Personality Test.
